Seventeen has exceeded 10 million album sales during the period from January to September 2023, according to data released by their agency, Pledis Entertainment.
Seventeen astoundingly sold a total of 11,043,265 albums based on Circle Chart data from January through the end of last month. A significant contributor to these impressive sales is their tenth mini-album, 'FML,' which was launched in April. This particular album clinched the record for the highest sales for a K-pop single album by selling over 6.27 million copies.
The phenomenal sales numbers do not end with 'FML,' their fourth full-length album, 'Face the Sun,' which also delighted the fans and sold over 950,000 copies. Both albums have received immense love and appreciation from fans worldwide due to their unique blend of music and dynamic performances.
Seventeen entered the music industry in 2015 and has been steadily climbing the ladder of success since then. They achieved a significant milestone of 10 million cumulative domestic album sales in November 2021, six years and six months after their debut, displaying the burgeoning popularity of their music and their stratospheric rise in the world of K-pop.
