Fans will finally be able to watch the special films titled '4: Clean Island' and 'Dear Jin Ri' associated with the cherished late artist Sulli's final work, 'Persona: Sulli.'
On October 31, Netflix Korea released the official trailer for Sulli's posthumous film, where her fans are able to see her and hear her voice once again.
In the trailer, Sulli narrates, "They say when you dream, it's either in first person perspective or a third person perspective. When I dream...I watch myself in a third person perspective, just like watching a drama or a movie."
"Persona: Sulli" offers audiences an in-depth exploration of the multifaceted life of the artist, Sulli. This project is uniquely structured, comprising two distinct films that delve into different aspects of her journey. The first segment, a short drama titled "4: Clean Island," presents an unusual narrative set. At its core is a unique pig, '4,' who arrives at an immigration checkpoint. This pig has aspirations to relocate to the famed "clean island," reputed as the most pristine haven on Earth. However, this journey demands a price - one must confront and confess their sins before they can proceed. This tale stars Choi Jin Ri, better known as Sulli, alongside Park Gabi and Hwang Min Young.
The second segment, "Dear Jinri," is a profound documentary that delves into the life and psyche of Choi Jin Ri. Simultaneously, it examines the public facade of Sulli, the artist. This documentary provides a candid look into her reflections during her 20s and the disparity between her on-screen portrayal and her off-screen reality. Viewers are granted an unprecedented glimpse into the depths of Sulli's experiences, thoughts, and emotions.
'Persona: Sulli' is set to premiere on Netflix on November 13.
Sulli was so beautiful. My heart aches when I think of her.🌹
