NCT NEW TEAM to drop their pre-debut Japanese single 'Hands Up' this weekend

AKP STAFF

NCT's upcoming new Tokyo team, currently known simply by the name NCT NEW TEAM, will drop their pre-debut Japanese single album 'Hands Up' this weekend on October 8 at 12 AM KST.

The six members of NCT NEW TEAM including Sion, Riku, Yushi, Daeyoung, Ryo, and Sakuya were previously selected through the survival program 'NCT Universe: LASTART'. Soon after being chosen as the new debut team members, the six boys made their public appearance as an official team for the first time during NCT's concert 'NCT Nation : To The World' in Japan, unveiling the powerful performance to their pre-debut song "Hands Up".

Now, the new unit will be releasing "Hands Up" as a part of a pre-debut single album prior to their official debut. The single album features the fast-paced dance track "Hands Up" plus a b-side track, "We Go!", a refreshing and feel-good vocal number.

Meanwhile, NCT NEW TEAM's official launch is slated for some time in 2024.

Shotaro should be a member of this group but SM wanted to get benefits for their korean group(riize), using Shotaro's huge popularity. SM's way to make fans confused. At least they gave up the original name(NCT Tokyo) because it'd have been really ridiculous
