Jimin is the Fastest K-Soloist to exceed 2 Billion streams on his Spotify profile while 'FACE' becomes the First K-Soloist Album to reach 1.2 Billion streams

Jimin's massively successful solo debut has him reaching new historical milestones all the time, further proving the overwhelming demand and popularity of his music among the masses. In this past week, Jimin has set two new streaming records on Spotify, on his individual artist profile and with his album 'FACE,' to cement his position as one of the most successful Korean soloists ever.

As of October 2, streaming data showed that he had now exceeded 2 Billion streams across all credits on his Spotify profile, thereby becoming the fastest Korean/K-pop solo artist in history to reach this milestone. He achieved this feat in just 526 days to beat the previous record of 560 days (Jungkook). He also holds this record for previous milestones such as 1.9 Billion, 1.8 Billion, etc all the way down to 1 Billion, which he had achieved in just 393 days.

Looking at his solo debut album 'FACE,' as of October 6, the 'EP' had surpassed 1.2 Billion streams on Spotify, thereby becoming the first album by a Korean solo artist in history to ever reach this feat on the platform.

Additionally, 'FACE' remains to be not just the most streamed album by a Korean solo artist but also the most streamed album by a Korean act in general in 2023 on the platform!

The 'EP' took 196 days to reach this feat, beating the previous record of 676 days. Similarly, 'FACE' holds the same records for previous milestones such as 1.1 Billion, and 1 Billion as reported previously.
