K-pop idols generally come from a stable financial background, but it's always so relatable to learn about members who have worked part-time before at some point in their lives. Because we know that it isn't easy to be independent and earn money to save for our dreams while still having some pocket money.
Here are some idols who have done various part-time jobs before!
Before he captured everyone's heart and became ZEROBASEONE's center, he was already hustling and adulting in life. He took up many part-time jobs, such as modeling and tutoring gigs, while juggling school.
Before becoming a trainee and an idol, he worked several part-time jobs, one of which was a part-time server in an EXO-themed cafe. He has also mentioned working for a hair salon too!
Kep1er Mashiro

The Boyz NEW

Most trainees got accepted into JYP pretty young, but Lee Know did not become a trainee until a bit later. Before starting his journey as a trainee, he worked at a barbecue place and was a professional backup dancer.
While working hard as a trainee, he was also a delivery boy to pay his college tuition at the time. That gig was how he injured his shoulder when, during one of his deliveries on his bike, a car hit him, but he did not tell the company about the accident at the time because he was afraid the company would drop him.
VANNER Hyesung
This one isn't a pre-debut story. Hyesung actually had to work part-time while working as an idol. And no, it wasn't for a variety show content. About two years ago, he shared with his fans during a broadcast that he was currently not making any earnings despite promoting, and hasn't had any earnings as an idol despite being an idol for about two years at the time. This is why he had to work part-time as a salesperson at the cosmetics brand Lush.
