FIFTY FIFTY continued to escalate their conflict with ATTRAKT.
On October 12, FIFTY FIFTY released a lengthy statement through their social media, stating, "The agency should stop taking baseless accusations."
FIFTY FIFTY questioned, "Did the agency consider the girl group as a means to earn money for resolving debts?" They also claimed, "The CEO of the agency, J, approached the CEO of an outsourcing company, A, to align their claims by investing 5 billion KRW (3.7 million USD) in advance payment debt, which his other S agency owed, into the girl group FIFTY FIFTY."
They continued, "The agency charged the members 3 billion KRW in costs on the settlement statement, but they haven't provided any detailed information about the operating costs of 3.3 billion KRW and the deposit of 1.7 billion KRW up to October."
They further urged, "Do not insult the members with unsubstantiated tampering (contact before the exclusive contract expires)," and warned CEO Jun Hong Joon, "Now, reveal everything about FIFTY FIFTY truthfully, last as it may be. We will disclose everything we have suffered under surveillance and control, damaging our health. We will reveal the truth behind the good stories told about CEO Jun."
On the other hand, the agency ATTRAKT (represented by Jun Hong Joon) filed a lawsuit for 1 billion KRW in damages against The Givers and CEO Ahn Sung Il, among others, on the 27th of last month.
An ATTRAKT representative stated, "Due to embezzlement and misappropriation in business by The Givers Ahn Sung Il and Baek Jin Sil, as well as the loss of major business opportunities such as advertising and casting denial, and their non-compliance with obligations, and illegal activities, a direct dispute has arisen between our company and the artists, preventing normal entertainment activities," and added, "The amount claimed in this claim is for a portion of the amount, and we plan to expand the amount of the claim in the future during the trial process."
Below is FIFTY FIFTY's statement translated by their fandom (Hunnies United):
Why is this even that big an accusation? The world is full of businesses that go into debt opening a business and hope that they'll make enough profit to pay it off.
