On October 16, ATTRAKT CEO Jun Hong Joon revealed that FIFTY FIFTY's Keena had visited him at the office to apologize personally. On that day, CEO Jeon Hong Jun stated, "I met with Keena yesterday. She apologized in tears. For her part, she wasn't feeling good either."
Then, on October 17, the CEO spoke with reporter Ahn Yong Jin to reveal the true reason Keena returned to ATTRAKT. Reporter Ahn Yong Jin held a phone interview with the CEO and released the audio recording where Jun Hong Joon shared the details of the talk he had with Keena.
CEO Jun Hong Joon shared, "I came to the office at 5 PM yesterday (October 16). It's been about 5 months since I last saw her. I don't know how to put it...but her state wasn't good. She's been suffering in the dark for 4-5 months. So I kept the talk brief." He continued to share, "I told her, 'First, take some time for self-reflection. Secondly, you need to sincerely confess your wrongdoings. Third, you should be honest and recount everything that happened to the lawyers without omitting anything. We need to have a conversation about who said what lies to you and who manipulated you.' She said 'Alright.' So we decided to talk more in about a day or two later."
The ATTRAKT CEO continued, "She looked really worn out. It was tough you know? So, I asked Keena, 'What do you think went wrong with (The Givers CEO) Ahn Sung Il?' She said 'the falsified academic records and the music copyright issue.' So her share decreased from 6.5% to 0.5%. She said she had no knowledge of that. Because of that incident, she began to have doubts about him and started to realize that he wasn't an honest person. But (FIFTY FIFTY) is a team, you know? A team of four, so all of them should drop the case together. But they weren't able to because they all had different thoughts. So Keena was the first to muster up the courage to leave. It was still a hard decision for her."
CEO Jun Hong Joon also shared that he gave her more advice and explained, "I told Keena, 'You need to take time for self-reflection on your mistakes. We don't know how long that would be but you must genuinely do that. That's the only way you'll be reborn as a mature individual. Thinking back now, I made a lot of embarrassing mistakes when I was young. But that's how people mature. From now on, never go where it's dark and damp. If you feel like you're going in that direction, it means that you're in the wrong place. So don't keep your body and mind in dark places,' is what I told her."
Korean netizens were moved by CEO Jun Hong Joon's kindness to Keena and were also impressed with the words of wisdom he offered her. They commented, "This CEO is a real good person," "The last words he told her are real advice from a real adult I feel," "Oh man," "Yeah, it's not easy to leave the group like that," "She just needs to self-reflect and learn...She didn't commit any heinous crime or anything...she's just really lucky she has a real adult to advise her," "I'm glad Keena has a good adult by her side," "Wow, this CEO Jun Hong Joon is a real adult. The member who returned should pull herself together, be honest, and walk the right path, just as the CEO said. Because we're all human, and we're young, we can make mistakes. Nevertheless, it's a relief that she came to her senses, even if she's alone. Truly," "This CEO is such a good person," and "Yeah losing 6% of your share was really big."
He's clever. Everything he's saying is making people feel more kindly disposed towards Keena, which will ultimately shorten the amount of time necessary for her to reflect. That way he can get her back out and promoting as soon as possible (say, maybe 6-9 months) and making money. It's clever and good for both of them.
