Widespread concerns are mounting, and criticism continues to flow from fans towards the management of M25, the agency in charge of CLASS:y. The rising worry is focused on the agency's handling of the popular girl group, which enjoyed immense popularity after their debut, following the popular idol competition show 'My Teenage Girl'.
In the wake of the show, CLASS:y garnered a substantial fanbase and public attention, having their fame skyrocket seemingly overnight. The future seemed promising and packed with potential for the newly formed girl group, as industry insiders and fans alike watched with bated breaths for their next big move.
Their subsequent debut became the talk of the town, given the success of their album and their regular appearances on several entertainment programs. Fans couldn't get enough of CLASS:y as they eagerly anticipated the girls making the headline once again.
However, a year has passed with no new promotional activities or updates from CLASS:y. This stagnation is inexplicable, as it occurred barely five months into their promotion cycle. Fans' last taste of the group's promotional activities came on October 26 last year with their 2nd mini-album 'Day & Night' which was heavily promoted in South Korea.
The extended hiatus has fans worried, and the spotlight has now turned to M25, CLASS:y's management agency. Specifically, the YouTube channel Issue Feed highlighted the concerns surrounding CLASS:y's inexplicable disappearance from the 4th generation girl group scene.
In a video uploaded on September 25, Issue Feed's explicit commentary drew attention to the issue, stating, "The concerns that fans have been raising over the past few months have become a reality," The video further condemned the apparent lack of effective management from CLASS:y's agency, a sentiment that is currently echoing throughout the fandom. The lack of communication and guidance seems to be casting a dark shadow over the promising careers of this once-lauded girl group.
Fans and netizens are commenting, "My favorite CLASS:y, please make them come back soon!" "It's such a waste, CLASS:y members are all talented but they just met the wrong management company," "The agency is really the culprit," "They released only a fan song in May and released a Japanese single, which was an OST for an anime in July," "I was really curious about what happened to CLASS:y," "I think the only down side to this group is their agency," and "I feel so sad for them."
The way the author (Sophie-Ha, who else) of this article wrote numerous superlatives as if Classy were in the same tier as BP, TWICE, NJ etc... or had the same rave response as IZ*ONE's debut (as a fellow survival show group)... it's so cringe. They were & still nugus, even worse than Kep1er. Just go and take a quick peek at their social media and see how little engagement they've been receiving even from their fans. So maybe there's ACTUALLY a reason that makes more sense on why they suddenly disappeared from public. If there's no demand for a certain product, why would you keep producing them.
