The rumor that BLACKPINK's Rosé may be collaborating with pop singer Taylor Swift has been debunked in the Korean press.
As previously reported, on September 9 local time, the BLACKPINK member was seen exiting Electric Lady Studio in New York City only minutes before Taylor Swift. A number of other notable artists, including Paramore's Hayley Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, Cara Delevigne, Gracie Abrams, Sadie Sink, Jack Antonoff, and Margaret Qualley, were also seen leaving the same studio.
In response to the spotting, many Korean netizens quickly took to online forums to share speculation that a Taylor Swift and Rosé collaboration might be in the works. However, the speculation was debunked by Korean media outlet Newsen on September 11, who not only shared that the idol had been there to attend a party after receiving an invitation from Taylor Swift but that a music industry representative close to the involved artists confirmed, "They were just attending a party and are not collaborating."
Meanwhile, Rosé and the rest of BLACKPINK are currently gearing up for the 'BORN PINK' world tour finale concert in Seoul, scheduled for September 16 and 17 at Gocheok Sky Dome. This is the first domestic concert for the group in nearly a year, having kicked off the tour with a Seoul concert back in October of last year.
