BTS's V wraps up first-week sales for 'Layover', sliding into #1 on the list of highest first-week album sales for a K-Pop solo artist

BTS's V has successfully wrapped up the first-week sales count for his 1st solo album, 'Layover'.

Released last week on September 8, V's 'Layover' recorded a total of 2,101,974 copies in sales during its first week of release. V has now officially become the musician with the highest first-week album sales for any K-Pop solo artist ever on the Hanteo Chart, a rank previously held by fellow BTS member Jimin's solo album 'Face'. 

Furthermore, V has also slid comfortably into 10th place on the list of highest first-week album sales of all time for any K-Pop artist on the Hanteo Chart, bumping down Seventeen's 4th full album 'Face The Sun'.
