INFINITE recently marked their highly-anticipated comeback after a five-year hiatus with 'New Emotions', much to their fans' delight. As they kicked off their music show promotions, an amusing revelation came to light. The seasoned members of INFINITE, now in their 13th year since debut, admitted to feeling a certain awkwardness around their junior artists due to the age difference. This has led to a rather humorous coping strategy: group bathroom trips. Whenever someone needs to go, they muster a group of three before venturing out.

The contents of a press interview with L and Lee Sung Yeol was revealed.

L shared his apprehensions about interacting with the younger generation of K-pop artists during their album promotions. He expressed, "Despite our excitement, there's a level of discomfort. The fear of being referred to as K-pop veterans or 'fossils' is real. Frankly, I'm quite anxious about being around these newer groups. My plan is to remain in our waiting room until our performance concludes."

Lee Sung Yeol echoed this sentiment, stating, "Indeed, during our recent recording for 'Show! Music Core', the intensity of the experience kept us largely confined to our waiting room. Even routine trips to the restroom were deterred by our apprehension."

He further recounted, "When we did venture out, these newer groups respectfully made way for us, announcing their group's name as we passed. In those moments, feeling slightly overwhelmed by their eager presence, I found myself murmuring in response, 'Hi, I'm from INFINITE...'"

When the members of INFINITE were questioned during their appearance on the Cultwo show about participating in a 'New Emotions' dance challenge, they confessed to feeling shy and hesitant about asking their juniors to join them. Nevertheless, they extended a lighthearted promise: should anyone express interest in joining the 'New Emotions' dance challenge, Woohyun pledged to treat them to coffee, and Dongwoo offered to personally tutor them in the dance!

Thankfully, the members of Monsta X, Shonwu and Hyungwon, have stepped up, expressing their willingness to take on the dance challenge with INFINITE. Xikers' member Hunter has also shown interest in joining Sunggyu for the challenge. It remains to be seen if the members of INFINITE can overcome their shyness and engage more comfortably with their juniors in the industry.
