The 'R U Next?' competition, with contestants battling to secure their place in an upcoming global girl group, remained suspenseful in the recently unveiled ninth episode. The episode was produced as part of an idol competition show by HYBE x Belift Lab.

On August 25, the 9th episode of 'R U Next?' was revealed. In this episode, the girls, who were divided into two teams 'Scrum' and 'Pride,' showcased their performances. With charismatic performances, the participants made the decision-making process harder than ever.

This episode was the last round of eliminations just before the finale, so the girls were more nervous than ever. In this round, two contestants were eliminated from the show.

In the last evaluation before the finale, three trainees - Himena, Jihyun, and Chanelle were in the bottom three, with the lowest scores.

Ultimately, the harsh spotlight fell upon Jihyun and Chanelle, signaling their departure from the competition. 

During the subsequent interview, Jihyun shared, "I think I was more calm when I was eliminated compared to when the others were eliminated. I believe this is a priceless experience that cannot be purchased with money. I was able to improve so much while performing on stage and this was an experience that helped me grow in so many different ways."

Chanelle shared, "I'm sad that I wasn't able to go to the finals with the other trainees. There were a lot of difficult times and I do feel regretful but I did my best."
