On August 11, NewJeans pop-up stores opened at LINE FRIENDS stores in Gangnam and Hongdae, in Seoul.
Two weeks ago, IPX proudly announced their partnership with the rising K-pop sensation, NewJeans, for the official merchandise business in collaboration with LINE FRIENDS.
IPX, the creative masterminds behind the IPs BT21 (created with BTS) and TRUZ (co-developed with TREASURE), partnered up with NewJeans to create their very own adorable characters.
These fluffy characters have now come to life, and fans can meet them in person through the new pop-up stores opened at LINE FRIENDS stores in Korea.
Fans are able to enjoy unforgettable experiences and meet Buninis, the new IP created by IPX, through the inspiration of NewJeans' mascot character "TOKKI."
The LINE FRIENDS store in Gangnam is currently decorated with “The Powerpuff Girls” theme, which was the latest concept for NewJeans' comeback. The store is adorned with a giant Bunini statue along with huge balloons of NewJeans' 'Powerpuff Girls' version characters. There is also a photo wall where fans can have their Instagram snap moments.
The Hongdae branch greets fans with a romantic and dreamy concept that pays homage to NewJeans’ latest EP. The store also set up various photo zones and art displays inspired by NewJeans' 'Bunny Beach Bad' album package.
These pop-up stores will be open until August 31, and IPX plans to open more pop-up stores in the United States, Japan, and Southeast Asia soon to meet fans around the world.
These characters are literally the cutest thing ever. NewJeans don't disappoint with their aesthetic, everything from the store, the Instagram post and the PowerPuff girls theme- it's just all so cute. So happy for the girls <3
