Kim Seon Ho's management agency has raised concerns about various impersonation scams and has requested extra vigilance from fans and followers.
On August 1, Kim Seon Ho's agency, Salt Entertainment, issued an official notice to the Weverse fan community warning his fans.
The agency stated that they have recently become aware of instances where individuals have impersonated the actor, people close to him, or agency personnel to deceive others and solicit money.
Salt Entertainment stated, "We want to emphasize that neither the artist nor our company's staff will ever initiate personal contact through private accounts." The agency also clarified that there are no circumstances where artists or employees sell tickets or official merchandise individually outside of the official channels, which are always notified through the agency's official social media platforms.
Furthermore, the agency urged fans not to fall victim to financial offers, personal remittances, purchasing agents, or divulging personal information. Kim Seon Ho's agency explained, "We do not solicit financial offers, including personal transfers or proxy purchases, nor do we request any personal information from fans" They also added, "We kindly request fans to exercise caution and take necessary precautions to avoid falling victim to such fraudulent activities. Your safety and security are of utmost importance to us."
Meanwhile, Kim Seon Ho previously faced an unpleasant scandal following the conclusion of the tvN drama 'Hometown Cha Cha Cha.' During that time, he dealt with gossip surrounding his ex-girlfriend A's private life and took a period of self-reflection, stepping back from all broadcast programs and advertisements.
After a nine-month hiatus, he made his comeback with the play 'Touching the Void' and later starred in director Park Hoon Jung's film 'The Childe.'
I don't know why that 'scandal' has been brought up, he did nothing wrong, and his ex- made a clarification about it. The adverts and contracts returned, and he was uncancelled.
