Jeon So Min and Weki Meki's Kim Do Yeon are starring in the upcoming film '18 Youth'.

On August 10, production company 26 Company revealed photos of the two stars at the script reading for '18 Youth'. The movie is reported to have started filming in Cheongju this past August 5. 

'18 Youth', based on a novel, tells the story of high school teacher Hee Joo, who's popular among students but unpopular among her fellow teachers, and 18-year-old student Soon Jung, who's not too fond of her unique homeroom teacher. Jeon So Min expressed, "I could relate to Hee Joo, who tries to communicate with students her own way. I'll do my best to portray the quirky yet charmingly friendly teacher, so please look forward to it."

Kim Do Yeon, who's playing the character of Soon Jung, commented, "I'm nervous and excited because this is my first movie. I'll do my best to show a new side of me, so please show a lot of support."

'18 Youth' is slated to premiere in 2024.
