SBS' 'Unanswered Questions' has been heavily criticized for a perceived biased episode regarding the FIFTY FIFTY controversy. Following the controversy, an individual claiming to have participated in an interview with the SBS show revealed that they had been edited out entirely from the show.
The interviewee, identified as 'A,' alleges to be an industry insider. They stated that their comments were unfairly removed from the 'Unanswered Questions' episode and vowed to expose the truth behind it.
The alleged industry insider posted on an online community, FM Korea, on August 23, stating, "I am the person who participated in the SBS 'Unanswered Questions' FIFTY FIFTY episode. I'm the person mentioned by YouTuber Lee Jin Ho."
'A' continued to explain, "In early July, as someone who proposed a policy on the K-POP Tampering Prevention Act to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (a citizen proposal), I conducted an interview with the 'Unanswered Questions' team for about an hour and a half." Here, tampering refers to attempts to persuade an artist to transfer to another agency without their current agency's permission.
The poster continued, "I understand that the 'Unanswered Questions' team is currently organizing their position internally. If they do not provide an explanation that the public can accept in the future, I will speak out."
The insider added, "I plan to initiate a national consensus petition related to the Tampering Prevention Act, and I will make all information related to the interview public, including in this online community."
In addition, the insider shared the interview process and the business cards they received from the producer and writer of 'Unanswered Questions' that they received during the interview. They explained they are posting the business cards as proof they were interviewed by 'Unanswered Questions.'
Meanwhile, 'Unanswered Questions' released an episode handling the "Truth" behind the FIFTY FIFTY controversy on August 19. However, following the premiere of the episode, netizens heavily criticized the show for mishandling information and releasing a biased episode. Many also pointed out that the show did not focus on objective evidence but focused on the emotional aspects of the group.
With the growing dismay, 'Unanswered Questions' released an apology on August 24.
What I really really want to know is why the F sbs and Unanswered Questions decided to put everything on the line for 5050?
I mean this doesn't make sense at all as to why they'd literally go out there to gather all the information they needed to expose the 5050 girls and The Givers ceo, only to edit out or try to bury all the facts and rather make the entire show about the girls' feelings.
Did they really build their reputation for decades only to put it all on the line for these lying greedy bastard and bitches??
This is such a shame
