On August 9 KST, representatives of girl group FIFTY FIFTY and management agency ATTRAKT appeared at a mediation arbitrated by the civil division of the Seoul Central District Court.
On this day, the mothers of FIFTY FIFTY members Saena and Aran appeared alongside their legal representatives, while members of the ATTRAKT management also appeared alongside their legal representatives.
The mediation went on for approximately 2 hours, but ultimately, the two sides were unsuccessful in arriving at a agreement that would satisfy both parties. The arbitrating court advised that additional discussions be held between the opposing sides until August 16.
Currently, ATTRAKT's side still maintains the position that "Any issues over payments and balances can be resolved through dialogue once the members return to the company. As long as they are willing to return to the company, we intend on taking any measures necessary to return FIFTY FIFTY's image and status to normal with full-fledged support and resources."
FIFTY FIFTY's side continues to maintain the position that ATTRAKT failed to fulfill its contractual duties as a management label, withholding a clear account of payments and balances, failing to support the girl group's activities, and failing to care for the artists' health.
Well with the mothers showing up in support of their original argument, any chance of a story book ending went out the window for me. I figured with all the news of ASI being such a fraudster, it would cause the members and their parents to change their stances. But I guess not.
