On August 31 KST, SM Entertainment's upcoming rookie boy group RIIZE took part in a pre-recording for Mnet's 'M! Countdown', performing the pre-release single "Memories".
On this day, the group once again greeted fans as 7-members after Seunghan's absence from a pre-recording schedule a day earlier.
Earlier this week, photos of Seunghan and an alleged girlfriend from his pre-debut days were leaked online, leading to various rumors and speculations. Seunghan personally apologized for the issue via RIIZE's official Instagram, and SM Entertainment warned legal action against those who spread the photos.
Now, according to fans who attended the 'M! Countdown' pre-recording, Seunghan broke down in tears after the group's stage as he attempted to address the audience.
"Seunghan was the last to comment, and some of the fans shouted that they loved him. He said, 'I'm sorry for talking about this at a happy place like this...' but then he just started sobbing. Sungchan hugged him and the other members didn't know what to do, and Shotaro said, 'Should we say our closing remarks?'. And they did their group closing remark and went down."
Was he framed by a jealous girl? I hate CANCEL CULTURE. It's like we're back hundreds of years in history when people were killed for minor things or without a real evidence of their guilt
