On August 11 and August 12, BLACKPINK held their 'Born Pink World Tour Encore' concert at the MetLife Stadium for two days straight. Despite the fact that there was heavy rainfall during their performance, BLACKPINK flawlessly wrapped up their New Jersey encore concert for two consecutive days, drawing praise from many.
On one popular online community forum, one netizen created a post titled, "BLACKPINK's concert today - is it for real?" Here, the netizen included a photo of the BLACKPINK members being drenched in rain on stage, but continuing to perform like professionals. The netizen further wrote, "They are the first girl group to completely sell out [their tickets] for the two days at the MetLife Stadium - but it rained heavily on the second day, so they just performed while drenched in the rain."
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK became the first girl group to have two consecutive-day sold out shows at the MetLife Stadium.
