Actor Kim Ji Suk recently shared a story of how his younger brother became ostracized in school because of him.
On the latest episode of MBC's 'Radio Star' that aired on August 23, Kim Ji Suk appeared as special a guest along with Park Mi Ok, Kim Min Ho, and Song Young Kyu.
During the show, Kim Ji Suk admitted that his attempt to help his younger sibling resulted in the latter becoming more isolated. He began by sharing, "My younger brother is 10 years younger than I am. My brother spent his childhood in the UK so he had a difficult time adapting to middle school."
The actor continued his anecdote by saying, "One day, my mother called me over and asked 'Do you know what's going on with your brother? He's being bullied and kids are taking his money.' That's when I exploded (in anger). He was attending my alma mater."
Kim Ji Suk continued, "At that time, I was in my early 20s. So I wore a sleeveless shirt and cargo pants and rode by 600cc motorcycle to his school. I entered through the main gate and circled the schoolyard. So, all the kids came out to watch. It just happened to be when I started acting, so I felt like I became Jung Woo Sung from the film 'Beat'."
He continued, "I was so engrossed in my role, so I hit the stair rails with my helmet as I went up. The kid who bullied my younger brother came out trembling. I took the kid to the first floor and a crowd of students encircled us. And I told him 'Don't bother my brother.'"
Kim Ji Suk added, "As an older brother, I felt satisfied and proud (to stand up for my brother). So I asked my younger brother and he told me they stopped bullying him but at the same time he became a loner because no one bullied him anymore but they also too scared to become his friend."
Better that than being scared for the rest of your life .... everyone needs a big brother like him !!!! 😃😃😃
