The premiere of tvN's new variety program 'Ramyeon Kkondae: Summer Camp' has been postponed indefinitely, in light of the public criticism directed toward one of its cast members, webtoon artist Joo Ho Min.
Well-known as the author of the 'Along With The Gods' series, Joo Ho Min previously became embroiled in controversy after details of his lawsuit against his son's elementary school teacher became publicized some time last week. Joo Ho Min reported his son's teacher for alleged "child abuse" after hiding a voice recording device in his son's bag; however, several other parents who claimed to be members of the same elementary school's community soon stepped up to defend the teacher's actions, giving rise to public criticism.
Originally, Joo Ho Min was scheduled to appear in tvN's new seasonal variety program 'Ramyeon Kkondae: Summer Camp' alongside Kim Poong, Lee Mal Nyeon, Pani Bottle, and KwakTube beginning with the show's premiere on August 4 KST. However, as a result of the ongoing criticism directed toward Joo Ho Min, tvN has announced the postponement of the program's premiere for now.
I'm actually so glad the public has taken the teachers side. He was putting the safety and education of the majority first, I think they were quite noble in that action.
