Former I.O.I member Kim So Hye will be returning to broadcast 2 years after the bullying controversy.
On June 29th, KBS2's new drama 'Pure Love Boxer' revealed pictures from the dry rehearsal showing the cast members reading the script, including Kim So Hye. The drama is the first show Kim So Hye chose after her long hiatus following a highly publicized bullying controversy.
Previously in February 2021, Kim So Hye was accused of being a school bully in middle school, and her label S&P Entertainment requested an investigation with the police. In July 2021, S&P Entertainment then stated the accuser was actually a perpetrator of school violence. The agency released a follow-up statement explaining there was a misunderstanding but the actress decided to stay out of the limelight following the release of the statement.
Meanwhile, 'Pure Love Boxer' tells the story of a talented young female boxer, Lee Kwon Sook (played by Kim So Hye), who takes the world of boxing by storm with her entry into the fighting ring. However, one day, she disappears without a trace, leaving many with questions. A few years later, a sports agent (Lee Sang Yup) shows up in front of Lee Kwon Sook and convinces her to return to the ring.
Stay tuned for Kim So Hye's return with 'Pure Love Boxer.'
Also netizens are so f dumb. They believe everyone just like that. They don’t even have common sense on how everyone is innocent until they are proved otherwise. Dumb Korean people destroyed so many lives and families and are still living well
