IVE member Wonyoung is facing criticism from a conservative 'moms' cafe', or an online community where mothers gather to discuss various topics and exchange information, concerning onlookers.

In one recent post on a particular 'moms' cafe', the IVE member is approached by a young boy. Wonyoung, who did not see the child approaching her while moving, instinctively recoils as the boy tries to touch her. A road manager then appears to prevent the boy from further contact with the IVE members, including Gaeul who is walking behind Wonyoung. 

For many onlookers, Wonyoung's reaction was perceived as normal; not for some users on this 'moms' cafe'. 

A user who seems to posted the edited clip on the community wrote, "She is being so cold to a child.. He just wanted to say hi because she was a pretty and intriguing. This is the reason why I love Junho. See, when Junho was in that situation, he acted surprised at first too, but then he smiled brightly at the child. I really fell for Junho then. You can be surprised, sure. But it's just a harmless fan, can't you react in a way that doesn't make the other person uncomfortable? And it's a young child.."

A few other users then added on, "The facial expression of the girl with the short hair behind her is worse..", "How unbecoming. Look at her glare", and "That unexpected moment brings out your real manners. She was never one with a gentle nature".

The issue has since become a topic of anger for netizens on other online communities such as those dedicated to K-Pop, as many expressed sympathy toward Wonyoung and disdain toward the 'moms' cafe'.
