Former labelmates have allegedly weighed in on FIFTY FIFTY's lawsuit against ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong Jun.
On July 8, singer Gil Hak Mi expressed support for the FIFTY FIFTY members, who are claiming they were mismanaged and not paid their due wages. Gil Hak Mi is known to have been managed by Jeon Hong Jun under his previous label Oscar Entertainment after appearing on the reality survival show 'Superstar K'.
She expressed in a now-deleted Instagram story, "Feel bad for those girls... I understand how they feel because I wanted to do the same. People who haven't dealt with him directly won't ever know." Netizens are alleging Gil Hak Mi's post was about FIFTY FIFTY's situation, and others are stating the CEO could have treated artists differently.
Meanwhile, another former girl group member named Kim Min Hee has spoken up on behalf of CEO Jeon Hong Jun. Kim Min Hee debuted with the girl group Lush in 2014 under Oscar Entertainment. The former idol expressed on her Instagram story that Jeon Hong Jun treated the girl group members very well, and the members were paid though their promotions weren't profitable.
Kim Min Hee wrote, "I'm so sad. Since our rookie days, he said we had to have allowances to spend, so he always paid us for our event schedules even though there were no profits. Thanks to our CEO, I was able to learn Mandarin, acting, and dance. He recognized me, believed in me, and gave me support. He's someone I'm very thankful for in life. He always said we were so good at singing, that we were kind, and like his daughters. He said we only needed to be good in singing, and he never let us see the dirty side of the industry throughout our time as trainees and singers. (To the point that after we stepped out from under his management, we really saw so much of the dirty things going on.) He's really such a good person and was like a father to me. Even a few days ago we texted, he said it was so good to see me living a good life. He was also worried for me as my father passed away not too long ago. I hope things get resolved, and he receives the rewards he deserves."
In related news, CEO Jeon Hong Jun is also said to have allegedly mistreated the boy group HOTSHOT.

Well he may've made mistakes with previous groups because CEOs arent perfect especially in the kpop industry. But it still seems like FIFTY FIFTY became greedy after The Givers and Ahn Sung ll sweettalked them against their CEO. There's probably much we don't know yet so let's just let this unfold.
