Broadcaster Yoo Jae Suk has invested approximately 3 billion won (around 2.3 million USD) to become the third largest shareholder of Antenna, a subsidiary of Kakao Entertainment. Following Antenna CEO Yoo Hee Yeol who obtained a 21.37% stake, Yoo Jae Suk obtained a 20.7% stake to become the third largest shareholder. Antenna was founded by Yoo Hee Yeol and boasts a list of talented individuals including Yoo Jae Suk, Jung Jae Hyung, Lucid Fall, Kwon Jin Ah, Lee Jin Ah, and Lee Mi Joo.
Kakao Entertainment, which acquired Antenna as a subsidiary in August 2021, asked Yoo Jae Suk to participate in stock options and capital increase, but he initially rejected the offer. According to officials, Yoo Jae Suk was previously hesitant to get involved in matters related to money and having his name on public notices. However, his recent investment in Antenna suggests a change in his stance.
Since joining Antenna in July 2021, Yoo Jae Suk has maintained a relationship with the entertainment agency, appearing on various Kakao Entertainment-related programs. Antenna also established an independent entertainment studio, Antenna Plus, and produced various contents featuring Yoo Jae Suk on its YouTube channel.
Moving forward, Yoo Jae Suk is expected to put more effort into entering the video content field of Antenna and Kakao Entertainment. Currently, Yoo Jae Suk hosts several entertainment programs, including SBS's 'Running Man,' MBC's 'Hangout With Yoo,' and tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block.' His investment in Antenna not only solidifies his commitment to the entertainment agency but also shows his support for the company's future endeavors.

Yoo Jae Suk is the main breadwinner of Antenna, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t become a bigger shareholder as the dividends to himself are a direct result of his efforts.
