Former model turned AfreecaTV streamer BJ Imvely (Im Ji Hye) passed away at the age of 37.

On June 19, the news of Imvely's passing was posted on her social media. The social media post stated, "Im Ji Hye has passed away, the following is the information on her obituary... I am greatly sorry that I was not able to contact you individually due to the distraughtness of her passing." 

Previously, on June 11, Imvely had a quarrel with other streamers while having a drinking session in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province. Upon returning home, Imvely conducted a live broadcast where she expressed her anger towards another particular streamer.

After expressing her overwhelming emotions, BJ Imvely took an unforeseen turn by extending apologies and disclosing the details of her will to her viewers. 

Using her will, she entrusted her ex-husband with the responsibility of caring for their children. Subsequently, Imvely stepped away from the camera, and the live stream concluded 20 minutes later when 119 paramedics arrived at Imvely's residence.
