Yoo Ah In found himself entangled in a complex situation as suspicions of drug use surround him. 

On May 22, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office sought an arrest warrant for Yoo Ah In and his acquaintance 'A,' who graduated from an art college, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

Earlier, on May 19, the police also applied for an arrest warrant for Yoo Ah In and his acquaintance, citing that there is a risk they will destroy evidence.

Despite Yoo Ah In being a first-time offender, the police sought an arrest warrant based on their assessment that he has a drug addiction. Notably, concerns regarding evidence tampering were cited as grounds for the arrest because the address the actor initially provided was not his actual place of residence. Subsequent investigation into his real residence revealed significant clues relating to drug use.

Recent revelations indicate that Yoo Ah In reportedly attempted to facilitate the escape of an acquaintance, identified as 'A', to an overseas location, providing additional grounds for his arrest warrant. It has been confirmed that Yoo Ah In's attempt to aid in 'A's evasion was unsuccessful.
