Group OMEGA X has decided to part ways with their former agency.
On May 8 KST, OMEGA X's former agency Spire Entertainment, finally agreed to terminate the exclusive contract.
OMEGA X said, "We plan to continue our activities with the manager with whom we have shared joys and sorrows for a long time since before our debut."
OMEGA X filed a lawsuit against Spire Entertainment last year for a provisional injunction to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract. The members have stated that the trust relationship was broken because the agency did not protect them and harmed them through assault and abusive language.
The full text of OMEGA X's official position can be seen below.
"Hello. This is OMEGA X.
OMEGA X mutually and amicably agreed to terminate the exclusive contract after careful and lengthy discussions with our former agency Spire Entertainment.
Accordingly, we decided to end all disputes with our former agency, Spire Entertainment, and decided to strive for the development of Kpop in our respective positions.
We sincerely thank the many people who worried about and believed in OMEGA X, and in the future, OMEGA X plans to continue our activities with a manager who has shared joys and sorrows for a long time before debut.
We will come back with good music and a more developed image.
We ask for your support for OMEGA X taking a new leap forward. Thank you."
Finally, they're free. I wish them all the best as they move forward together!
