LIGHTSUM revealed they're preparing for a comeback.

On May 6 KST, LIGHTSUM sat down for an interview and responded to fan questions about their comeback. The members shared that they're currently preparing for their next release, but the exact date has yet to be decided. Chowon expressed, "We're trying to show a different side to ourselves other than what we've done so far. I don't know what kind of song it's going to be, but it'd be good to focus on what's different from the past."

Juhyeon hinted that fans should expect a more mature concept than before, and Yujeong said, "Now that we're adults, we'll transform to show our fans a more mature image than before. We hope you look forward to it."

As for why their comeback is taking a while, Sangah responded, "We're greedy about our next album and songs, so the hiatus is getting longer... We're trying to make a perfect stage for our fans, so please wait for it."
