On May 4 KST, iKON made a comeback with their third full-length album 'TAKE OFF' along with the release of the music video for the title track "U." The album was then physically released on the 11th.
According to the data released by the Hanteo chart, the boy group's most recent album recorded 97,551 copies sold on the first day of its release.
With this, iKON officially broke its own record, not only in first-day sales but also in first-week sales on Hanteo. The record was previously held by their fourth mini-album, 'FLASHBACK,' which had over 70,000 units sold during its first week, meaning iKON's latest album only took one day to surpass 'FLASHBACK's first-week sales.
Congratulations, iKON! Have you been listening to 'TAKE OFF'?
Proud of you my 6 lil dorks!! Keep rising!
