F.T. Island's Hongki announced as Produce 101 Japan Season 3's vocal trainer

F.T. Island's Hongki will be participating in Produce 101 Japan Season 3's vocal trainer!
On May 19, the popular idol survival program, Produce 101 Japan announced Hongki as the upcoming third season's vocal trainer on their official SNS with the caption: "Popular Korean band group #FTISLAND's vocalist #LeeHongki has been confirmed as #PRODUCE101JPSEASON3's vocal trainer! There are five days left to the application period! If you're hesitating, let's #LEAPHIGH together in response to trainer Lee Hongki's encouragement. We look forward to your application!"
Along with the post was a poster and a greeting video by Hongki himself where he greets everyone saying that he will support the trainees' vocal training to his best abilities, and asks for those who are still considering if they should put in their application to set out on their first step towards their dreams.
Meanwhile, Produce 101 Japan has debuted JO1 and INI in the two previous boys seasons, while Produce 101 Japan Season 3 will be a girls season, set to be premiered late 2023 or early 2024.
