The former idol who allegedly sexually assaulted a fellow group member reportedly starred in a movie.
As previously reported, 25-year-old former idol 'A' was found guilty of sexually assaulting a fellow group member from 2017-2021. Though he admitted to charges of sexual harassment, he denied the charges of assault similar to rape.
According to reports, the movie 'A' starred in was recently released in theaters. The exact identity of the former idol has not been revealed publicly, however.
The CEO of the group has also spoken up, stating, "As soon as I learned of the situation, I separated the two. We also provided therapy and sexual education for our artists. We're doing our best to protect the victim. We attempted to cancel the contract with the perpetrator, but we haven't been able to reach him for months. In terms of his trial and movie release, we haven't heard anything from the perpetrator or the film production company."
