aespa's fans are left disappointed after the popular music show, Show Champion, announced the cancellation of their program. The news is particularly disheartening as aespa was expected to win the competition and showcase their new comeback song on the show.
Many fans have taken to social media to express their frustration, as this marks the SECOND time such an incident has occurred. Some have even accused the network of bias and unfairness. Fans also highlighted that aespa's appearance on the show would have marked a significant milestone for the group, considering their rapidly rising popularity and recognition in the K-pop industry.
Despite the setback, some fans are holding onto hope that aespa will have an opportunity to perform their new comeback song on another show or platform. Others are advocating for increased transparency and fairness within the industry and urging networks and organizations to be more accountable to their audiences and supporters.
As of now, Show Champion has not released an official statement regarding the cancellation of the program.
Producing music shows costs money. Cancelling a show makes them use additional money because the loss of air time means the loss of advertising slots with basically funds at least haf of the shows costs.
So sure, they cancel a show just because they don't want a certain band to not be able to win. Especially when that band is very popular and would bring a super high viewer count aka money.
Logical thinking doesn't really seem to be the strenght of those people on Twitter....
