aespa has become a '2 million seller' group for the first time!
According to the Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart), aespa's 3rd mini-album 'MY WORLD,' which was released on May 8, recorded sales of about 2,011,388 copies (dated May 21 KST), officially becoming the group's best-selling album.
With this, aespa became the first 4th generation girl group to have an album exceeding 2 million sales, making the group a 'double million seller' just two years and six months after their debut. This makes aespa the fastest and only the second girl group to achieve this milestone, joining BLACKPINK.
On the Hanteo chart, 'MY WORLD' recorded over 1.6 million copies sold in the first week of its release, the group's highest album first-week sales. It also rose to become the highest K-Pop girl group album first-week sales in history, breaking the record previously held by BLACKPINK.
