Given the competitive nature of idol survival shows, participants are expected to deliver their absolute best and create electrifying performances. These acts never fail to impress, whether they are captivating covers or original songs.
With the recent finales of 'Boys Planet' and 'Peak Time,' check out some of these fantastic performances from survival shows that will knock your socks off!
Stray Kids - God's Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du
Not only was this a genius mix of the group's hit song "God's Menu," with BLACKPINK's "Ddu-Du-Ddu-Du," but they also had a very fun "Deadpool" inspired concept too during their time competing in Kingdom: The Legendary War. It was a spectacular stage, gained immense popularity, and was also noticed by the man that plays "Deadpool" himself, Ryan Reynolds.
Produce X 101 - Move
There's always one legendary stage in a Produce series, and this is one of them. They may not have won the round, but they won hearts by being one of the most loved stags. The season's debut group, X1, also did their own version of the song.
Produce 101 Season 2 - Never
Another legendary and most loved stage of this Produce season has to be Never. The group was said to be the season's "Avengers Team," and they were not wrong. This song will NEVER grow old.
ATEEZ - The Real
ATEEZ always knows how to have fun, and this one was REAL fun! One of the best things that came out of Kingdom: The Legendary War was not only to see these 8 boys having the time of their lives performing the song, but they kept performing the song even after the show!
iKON - Inception
It was indeed a legendary war, with the amount of insanely outstanding performances that came out of it. In this one, iKON did a cover of ATEEZ's hit song 'Inception,' and turned it into a song of their own. It was so impressive how they made the song very iKON-like.
DKB - The Real
Aforementioned, this song is an enjoyable one, and the only way for you to successfully cover it is to match the original artist's energy. And guess what? DKB did precisely that.
Boys Planet - Zoom
This stage may not have won the round, nor branded it as one of Boys Planet's legendary stages, but it is a memorable one for how fun it is! These five boys know how to have fun and shine on stage, making everyone go 'Wumuti-ti-ti' with them!
AOA - Egotistic
We talked about Kingdom a lot, now let's let the Queens shine, and these queens truly did. AOA covered MAMAMOO's 'Egoistic,' and something about this performance just draws you in.
Produce 48 - Rumor
An iconic Produce 48 performance has to be this. It's a fact, not a Rumor. Despite being trainees, these girls just knew how to own the stage and made themselves become a hot issue.
LOONA - Shake It
'Shake It' is such a popular bop that even if you don't know SISTAR, you would still know the fun song! LOONA, known for being great performers, delivered the song perfectly; it made the whole crowd shake with them!
(G)I-DLE - Lion
These girls truly know how to end the show with a bang. The group not only released this majestic song but did a very grand performance of it as well on their final stage of Queendom.
LOUD - Back Door
LOUD had me impressed every episode by how insanely talented all the trainees are, and this was one of the many great performances they had on the show. This was a great stage of very talented trainees, having fun with their sunbaenims, Stray Kids.
Golden Child - WANNABE
Prior to Kingdom: The Legendary War, we had Road To Kingdom, which also gave us many great stages from underrated groups (which you should definitely pay attention to!). This was one of the best stages from the show yet. They not only performed one of their greatest hits, but they also added a classical music tune to it, and one of the members, Joochan, had a live violin solo.
AOA's cover of "Egotistic" and (G)I-DLE's "Lion" will forever be my favorite moments. Especially "Lion" is such a great song.
