It was previously reported that actress Kyeon Mi Ri used her daughter Lee Da In's wedding money for a meaningful good deed.

On April 10 KST, it was reported that Kyeon Mi Ri will donate the money from Lee Seung Gi and her daughter Da In's wedding as a donation for disabled and vulnerable children.

According to the report, she expressed her intention to use the congratulatory money for a meaningful cause through the Korea Information Society for the Disabled as a token of gratitude to the people who attended the wedding.

However Kyeon Mi Ri's family has long been a subject of controversy in Korea, with attempts at trying to clear her name only backfiring immensely. It seems Korean netizens have a lot of opinions about Kyeon Mi Ri's recent attempt at good will. 

On a Korean online community, netizens gathered to share their opinions of the news. 

"So you donate to a foundation you created? No way." 

"People in that family don't seem to have normal mental strength... If public opinion was this bad, they should just have a quiet wedding and live quietly, but they don't care, they keep going out in the public eye, have extravagant weddings, and continue to speak loudly in public."

However it is worth noting that Lee Geum Joo, CEO of Symbiosis Sympathy, was displeased over the allegations that actress Kyeon Mi Ri owns the foundation.

Representative Lee has stated, "We have gratefully and thankfully received support from Ms. Kyeon Mi Ri, but the foundation is not hers."
