According to YTN Star exclusive report, the producer allegedly rejoined Mnet's music business department as a producer after previously being sentenced to two years in prison for manipulating voting results in the popular 'Producer 101' series. Now he has allegedly returned to his position in Mnet following his prison release.
Producer Ahn was sentenced to two years in prison and a fine of 37 million KRW by the court. He was found guilty in both the first and second trials despite an appeal. He further appealed to the Supreme Court, but the lower court's decision was upheld. Ahn completed his entire two-year sentence and was released from prison in November 2021.
