CEO Lee Seo Jin practiced employee welfare to boost the staff's morale.
On April 7th, the sixth episode of "Jinny's Kitchen" was released on Prime Video, and business was booming as the delicious Korean food in their snack bar spread through word of mouth among the locals.
The staff struggled to keep up with the influx of customers, but the profit-oriented CEO was beaming with joy because sales exceeded their daily goal of 10,000 pesos. It was their biggest sales day since opening the snack bar in Bacalar, Mexico.
While the CEO was happy with the high sales, the hardworking staff was exhausted from cooking so much food all day. Despite being offered dinner, they had no appetite and simply wanted to go home and sleep.
Lee Seojin, who had been observing the decreasing morale of the employees all day, announced that they would have the next morning off so that they could recharge and come back in full shape to open during dinner time.
The next day, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon, interns Choi Woo Shik and BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) enjoyed their long-awaited break from work. After their meal, they eagerly headed straight to the beach and rented some jet skis. Excitement filled the air as they took turns speeding through the waves.
While his employees were having a blast, their boss Lee Seo-jin was busy in the market, shopping for fresh ingredients for the snack bar. After a fun-filled morning, the employees returned, feeling refreshed and in high spirits, ready to tackle the busy evening ahead.
'Jinny's Kitchen' airs every Friday at 8:50 PM KST via tvN and TVING for viewers in South Korea and via Amazon’s global OTT Prime Video for viewers overseas.
