A man recently confessed his concerns about his girlfriend, who has been an idol trainee for 10 years.
The recording of the 170th episode of KBS Joy's 'Love Naggers' featured a man who confessed his concerns about his girlfriend, who had been an idol trainee for 10 years. The man has been dating his girlfriend for two years, and explained that their relationship had to be kept secret because she was training to become a K-pop idol. While he sometimes found the secrecy exciting, he admitted that his feelings had become complicated.
The man shared that the most challenging period for him and his girlfriend was during the end-of-the-month assessment when she would get her hopes up for a debut, only to be disappointed if she wasn't chosen.
Heartbreak struck when his girlfriend was recently forced to leave her agency after a decade of grueling training. Despite the crushing blow, she resolved to pick herself up and found a part-time job. Yet, her transition to a life outside of being an idol trainee hasn't been easy. As the man observed, his girlfriend had started her training journey at a tender age and had devoted all her time and energy to perfecting her craft. The man noted that she struggled because she had started her idol trainee life at the young age of 14 and didn't know anything about life outside of being a trainee.
The MCs were shocked to hear the story and also tried to advise the man if it was correct to continue to encourage his girlfriend to pursue her dreams or not. Han Hye Jin suggested that, ultimately, it was up to the girlfriend to decide whether to pursue her dreams or not and shared, "You can't really stop anyone because it's their life." Columnist Kwak Jeong Eun shared her thoughts and said, "I think there will be other people who will give advice so I won't add much but I think the boyfriend must have grown tired after dating the girlfriend for two years. If she was my daughter, I would like to tell her to quit."
Even alot of idols who had debut and disbanded. Became Streamer/BroadcastJocket. They say they make more money in one mth than their entire idol career.
