Yoo Ah In has assembled an elite legal team. It consists of former prosecutors who investigated celebrities' drug cases in the past and attorneys from the largest law firm in South Korea.

Yoo Ah In is currently under investigation for alleged habitual use of propofol. On March 27, he appeared before the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Team, accompanied by a team of lawyers that includes former prosecutors and attorneys from the largest law firm in Korea.

One of Yoo Ah In's attorneys is Park Seong Jin, a former prosecutor who investigated drug cases involving celebrities such as Lee Seung Yeon, Park Si Yeon, and Jang Mi In Ae in 2013. Park, who retired as deputy chief of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office last year, has extensive experience in drug and organized crime investigations.

Another attorney on Yoo Ah In's team is Cha Sang Woo, who also worked as a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office and the Busan District Prosecutor's Office before becoming a lawyer at Kim & Chang, Korea's largest law firm. Ahn Hyo Jung, who also works at Kim & Chang, is the third attorney on Yoo Ah In's team.

Yoo Ah In was originally scheduled to undergo a summons investigation on March 24, but the investigation was postponed after his attendance was reported in the media. His lawyers are expected to argue that the propofol administration was for medical purposes during the police investigation. They may also argue for a light sentence, given that Yoo Ah In has no prior convictions and there is no clear evidence of drug use beyond propofol to confirm the blood test results.

The investigation into Yoo Ah In's alleged drug use began after the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety raised concerns about the actor's abnormally high propofol prescriptions. Police collected hair and urine samples from Yoo Ah In when he arrived at Incheon International Airport from the United States in February. Subsequent tests detected not only propofol but also ketamine, cocaine, and hemp in his system.

As the investigation continues, Yoo Ah In and his legal team will likely face intense scrutiny from the media and the public. However, with experienced attorneys on his side, Yoo Ah In may be able to mount a strong defense and avoid serious legal consequences.
