On March 10 KST, global girl group TWICE made their highly-anticipated comeback with their 12th mini-album 'READY TO BE.' After its global release, the album immediately topped iTunes charts around the globe.
First, 'READY TO BE' debuted at No.2 on the worldwide iTunes album chart and at No. 3 on the European iTunes album chart.
In addition, the album landed atop iTunes' top albums chart in a total of 17 countries, including Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, El Salvador, Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Japan, and more
In particular, the title song "SET ME FREE" hit No. 1 on iTunes' top songs chart in 21 regions including Bahrain, El Salvador, Moldova, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Compared to what TWICE did before, their latest comebacks are very low and it wouldn't have surprised anyone to hear this type of song from a little-known group that would never have reached 5 million views on youtube. But the big labels aren't worried anymore. They have a lot of subscribers, they have enough money to pay for foreign radio stations and international appearances, they know that the fans are going to support their favorite bands no matter what they do because you have to "stream fast in the first 24h" + "buy a lot of albums" + "listen on lots of different platforms" so that the group is rewarded with awards that no longer mean anything, albums on the sidewalks because we are not going to keep at home 40 copies of the same album, and fans who tell you "at first I didn't like it but after the 100th listen I love it".
It's maybe just my opinion but I have the feeling that the quality of music for the big agencies became really worse in just few years
