One of the most talked-about contestants of Mnet's latest idol survival program 'Boys Planet', Sung Han Bin recently received backlash once again for allegedly posing in a "topless" photo alongside eight other females.
When some netizens criticized the photo online as "promiscuous" and "decadent", prominent dancer/choreographer Spella came to Sung Han Bin's defense.
Spella commented regarding the photo in an interview with Newsen on March 22 KST, "Bin was a member of the dance crew in the photo. The photoshoot was a group shoot for the crew. The photoshoot was intended to convey a pure and soft image, which was why the members wore tank tops to show their neck-lines and shoulder-lines. The pearls on Bin's face were meant to accentuate an initial."
The dancer then added on, "Bin was the only male member of the crew, so he stood in the back and to the side as not to interfere with the soft image. It was thought that it would be odd if he were the only one clothed, so he went topless."
Meanwhile, Spella is known as the #1 dancer in the tutting genre in South Korea, and was a coach for Sung Han Bin's former dance crew. Sung Han Bin, a trainee from Studio Glide, is currently ranked #1 on Mnet's 'Boys Planet'.
who cares? any even if someone cares, they're literally obviously in costume. they've clearly been styled and are "matching" a concept. but even if they weren't... who cares? lol
e. but nice of Spella to try to and clear the air of misunderstanding. shame that people desperately want to cause issues that need to be responded to though ;
