'IDOL' becomes BTS' 5th MV to hit 1.2 billion views on YouTube

BTS achieved a new milestone on YouTube!

On February 9 KST, the global boy group's music video for "IDOL" officially racked up 1.2 billion views on YouTube, becoming the group's 5th MV to reach the milestone, after "MIC Drop," "DNA," "Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)," and "Dynamite."

Released on August 24, 2018, as the lead single from the band's third compilation album 'Love Yourself: Answer,' the music video for "IDOL" reached the 1.2 billion view count 4 years and 5 months later.
