'Crash Course in Romance' is continuing to reach new heights in viewership ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, an audience rating research company, the 8th episode of tvN's 'Crash Course in Romance,' which aired on February 5, ranked first place in the viewer rating ranking with an average rating of 13.6% and a maximum rating of 14.4% based on households in the metropolitan area.

The average viewer rating on paid platforms nationwide is 11.8%. The highest viewership rating reached 12.5%.

In the age demographic of 20-49, the drama drew an impressive average viewership rating of 6% and a maximum of 6.3% in the metropolitan area, with a national average of 5.6% and a peak of 6%. These ratings are all personal best records for the drama, including household ratings in the metropolitan area and nationwide.

In the 8th episode, Choi Chi Yeol (played by Jung Kyung Ho) and Nam Haeng Seon (played by Jeon Do Yeon) are getting closer to each other. 

Choi Chi Yeol learned that the restaurant owner's daughter (played by Kim Mi Kyung), who helped him eat a full meal in his time of difficulty, is Nam Haeng Seon.

Unaware of his true feelings, Choi Chi Yeol begins to return the favor to Nam Haeng Seon. And Soo Ah's mother (played by Kim Seon Young) uses a secret agency to investigate Choi Chi Yeol's background bringing tension to the storyline.
