NewJeans member Hyein is an avid admirer of the girl group Everglow. In a recent Q&A session, Hyein was asked about which dance she would like to cover. The NewJeans member answered: "Everglow's Dun Dun, I want to dance to this. their choreography is very powerful, and I've never really done powerful dances, so I'd like to learn it as a challenge for myself."

In addition to that, in a recent countdown video, before the OMG comeback MV was released during the talk, the NewJeans members quickly said Everglow, after first saying the word "forever." For those who don't know, Forever is the name of Everglow's fan club. When the camera was on Hyein, she even did Everglow hand sign, which the girl group uses during introductions.

As it was recently announced by leader Sihyeon, Everglow is currently preparing for a comeback. Their last released song as a group was "Pirate" which was released in December 2021.

In the meantime, Everglow fans can enjoy the special Christmas-themed performance of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
