Wonho officially enlists in military as public service worker

Wonho has officially begun his compulsory military training.

Starting from December 5 KST, Wonho will be fulfilling his military duty in alternative service as a public service worker.

Prior to his enlistment, Wonho greeted his fans through a message on his fan cafe, saying, "I'm preparing many different things so WENEE [Wonho's official fanclub] won't get bored, so I hope you spend this time happily and waiting for the day we meet again." He also promised fans that he would return to them in an awesome way, just as he had when he first performed for them as a solo artist.

Meanwhile, Wonho spent his last moments before enlistment with his fans, having spent the summer holding his 'OHHOHO TRIP' fan concert in Korea, Thailand, and Japan, then holding his European 'Facade' tour in September. He also held his 'Everyday Christmas' concert on December 3.

Arghl, I will miss Wonho so dang much. He is not only a great singer and performer but also such a funny and beautiuful guy, inside and out. I will miss his smile and his photo posts on Twitter, I will also miss just knowing that he could turn up online at every second and surprise us in his own ways. ^^ For now I am looking forward to his Season Greetings set and to the planned surprises. To Wonho himself I wish a calm time as a public service worker and that he'll be able to stay healthy and full of positive energy through these coming years. We will see you again in 2024. <3
