It's been revealed that Seoul police arrested a male, third generation chaebol by the name of 'Hong' for illegal possession, use, and sale of marijuana earlier on November 15.
Hong is known as the grandson of Hong Doo Young, the founder of Namyang Dairy Products, one of South Korea's largest dairy manufacturers. He's currently facing charges of possessing and habitually using the illegal drug marijuana, as well as selling the substance to friends, acquaintances, and foreign exchange students. Hong, as well as 8 others affiliated with Hong, have been forwarded to prosecution as of December 2 for illegal use of marijuana.
Among those facing trial are 'Jo', another 3rd generation chaebol and grandson of the founding family at Hyosung Group, as well as 'Ahn' (40), who is known to be a celebrity and a part of a 3-member vocal trio. In fact, Ahn is also facing charges of growing marijuana in their home, despite living with underaged children. Ahn is said to be of American citizenship.
Meanwhile, 3rd generation chaebol Hong is a cousin of Hwang Hana, who is also known as a granddaughter in Hong Doo Young's family. Hwang Hana was previously charged and convicted for illegal drug use once in 2015, then again in 2020.
They already gave out his grandfather name, company, etc. Just gave out the real name already because hiding their names and faces are basically idiotic at this point.
