LE SSERAFIM's Kazuha shared why she felt so emotional when attending the 2022 MAMA Awards held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on November 29 and 30.
On December 13, the behind-the-scenes video of the 2022 MAMA was released on YouTube. While waiting on standby at the venue with Huh Yunjin, Kazuha smiled and shared, “I’ve seen a performance here before,” pointing at the Kyocera Dome. Surprised by this, Huh Yunjin asked, "Really? Did you watch a ballet performance?" Kazuha replied, "No, BLACKPINK's performance."
Kazuha recounted that she had the privilege of attending BLACKPINK's concert at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka in 2018, where she was seated in the audience.
Kazuha had previously professed her admiration for BLACKPINK on numerous occasions and confessed that it was their music that had sparked her love for K-pop. Kazuha also revealed that BLACKPINK is her role model, and she aspires to be charismatic and cool like the members.
Meanwhile, Kazuha had previously dreamt of being a professional ballerina but changed her dreams to become a K-pop idol after seeing BLACKPINK's 'Arena Tour 2018: Special Final in Kyocera Dome Osaka’ performance in 2018.
Kazuha applied for an online audition for Source Music while studying abroad in the Netherlands in 2021. Passing the audition, she was able to debut with LE SSERAFIM.
