As the year draws to a close, K-Pop fans eagerly anticipate the amazing festivals that take place! From music festivals featuring exclusive performances from a variety of artists to drama awards that bring together some of the best actors in the industry, these events are sure to be unforgettable! For years, the Korean entertainment industry has been hosting iconic end-of-year festivals, and here are six of the most memorable moments captured on camera!
1. JYP and Hwa Sa: This moment became viral after JYP and MAMAMOO had a collaboration stage, but it wasn't the performance itself that shook everyone to their core. It was the very ending of their performance that didn't just shock the fans but even fellow musicians that were in attendance - especially GOT7's Jackson!
2. Go Kyung Po's excitement: Finally, a star that isn't just sitting like a statue while watching performances; here's a star that actually had the time of his life! You can truly see the genuine excitement that Go Kyung Po has for Zico's performance!
3. BTS MMA 2019: Everyone was entirely shocked at this stage. Of course, BTS is known to perform some of the grandest stages, but they blew everyone away with each member showing off a snippet of some of their more notable songs. If that wasn't enough, they even had real horses on stage as an intro to their "Dionysus" stage!
4. (G)I-DLE Soyeon: Soyeon made waves after she was found shading MAMA during the group's performance, rapping, "What award will you give us this year? MAMA. You know who we are, the syndrome of the year, we reject specially made awards!" Bold and fierce as always!
5. Amor Fati: If you need a song that will get all of your favorite K-Pop stars dancing, this is the one. Everyone had an immense blast when veteran singer Kim Yeon Ja came onto the stage!
6. MMA 2017 Fan Boy: Known to be a long-time fan of IU, BTS Jungkook coincidentally enough found himself sitting right behind one of his favorite idols! Showing off his goofy self throughout the entire ceremony!
As this year also comes to a close, this means we're also getting closer to the usual end-of-the-year festivities! I can't wait to see what special moments come from this year's ceremonies!
