In the 112th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Entertainment Company Live,' which aired on December 22, the celebrities who profited from real estate investments in 2022 were revealed.

According to the show, Seo Taiji is the star who earned the most significant profit. In 2002, he purchased a two-story building in Nonhyeon-dong for about 5 billion KRW (~3.9 million USD) and carried out construction to build a new six-story building. The building, called the Seo Taiji Building for the past 20 years, was sold for about 38.7 billion KRW (~30 million KRW) in April of 2022 after the subway station opened and its real estate value soared. Seo Taiji drew attention with a market profit of about 33 billion KRW (~25.6 million USD).

Actor Ryu Jun Yeol made a profit in a short period of time. In 2020, he purchased a site in Yeoksam-dong for about 5.8 billion KRW (~4.5 million USD). In January of this year, he sold the building for about 15 billion KRW (~11.6 million USD). The market profit was about 9 billion KRW (~7 million USD).

Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon also bought a building in Hannam-dong for about 5.8 billion KRW (~4.5 million USD) in 2019 and sold it for 8.8 billion KRW (~6.8 million USD) in June this year, making a market profit of about 3 billion KRW (~2.3 million USD). 

Song Hye Kyo, who bought a detached house from Shin Ae Ra and Cha In Pyo for about 5 billion KRW (~3.9 million USD), sold the house for about 7.9 billion KRW (~6.1 million USD) in April this year after her mother lived there for 17 years. Her profit from the sale was about 2.9 billion KRW (~2.3 million USD).
